Key Responsibilities and Achievements • Business development and design management working within our minerals division as a start-up Project Manager• Successfully designed and developed a strategy for the pursuit of work within the Base Metals sector of the Minerals division• Analysing the market in Australia for suitable projects in the minerals industry• Following from previous projects I had completed, I met with key clients on site at Arrium in Whyalla, BHP Billiton in Olympic Dam and the Lead Smelter in Port Pirie to discuss opportunities to assist in upcoming projects.• Detailed analysis and preparation of bids and proposals for various minerals projects• Developing key account plans for each client portfolio• Meeting and presenting with key clients and business stakeholders building long-term mutually beneficial working relationships• Negotiation of key contract terms and conditions, key deliverables contract milestones and the procurement of suppliers and sub-consultancy agreements
