Responsible for:• Putting ‘bums in beds’ across 28 properties (hostels) varying in size from 120 - 850 beds in Australia and NZ• Obtaining profitable results for RTG through Job Search and the hostel sales teams by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development• Managing the sales reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible and advising senior management on maximising business relationships, and creating an environment where customer service can flourish• Managing the sales team Internationally and locally, meeting agreed targets and promoting the organisations presence throughout Australia, NZ and globally.• Represent the RTG brands domestically and internationally at trade shows and expos• Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort), realistic costs of operating the sales force, and sales promotion plans• Ensure all sales representative activities are in accordance with the guidelines of RTG• Responsible for the planning, recruitment, direction, organisation, and control of sales managers and sales representatives to accomplish specific objectives.• Monitoring the performance of the sales team by sales reports and cyclical sales meetings• Observe the performance of sales representatives in the field on a regular basis• Provide a high standard of ongoing training for the sales representatives so that they possess, sufficient product and technical knowledge to present information on the companies’ products in an accurate and balanced manner

Responsible for:• Obtaining profitable results through driving sales of Prosail through NSW and VIC via a network of Travel Agents• Build new and maintain strong professional relationships whilst promoting Prosail through motivation, communication of sales tools, product knowledge including current offers and advising of best sales practice• Providing a high standard of ongoing product education and training sessions to raise the profile of Prosail, and increase the propensity of agents to sell Prosail as the preferred sailing option• Working with Prosail team in conjunction with Agents to coordinate consumer events including exhibitions and film nights• Host agents on sailing familiarisations to The Whitsundays in accordance with the familiarisation guidelines• Attend conferences promoting not only Prosail but the Whitsundays region
