During my near 3 year tenure as CFO, I helped the business put in a new ERP system, CRM system and Power BI reporting system, as well as optimising the capital structure, gearing it for growth. More importantly, I helped steer the business to focus on the exciting Intelligent Wireless Lighting Controls market, re-orientating marketing to concentrate developing the business in this sector. With Sean Hounslow and Ben Brunton, the business is well positioned for super fast growth and become a market leader in the UK in this area over the next couple of years, and I wish the business every success.

A fantastic 12 years at OLIVER / Inside Ideas Group as CFO, helping the business to grow from a small Agency employing 20 people with big ambition, to a large, multi-national, disruptive Agency generating well over £100m in revenues, employing 1,200 staff globally.It was a privilege to work with an outstanding group of people, including the founder Simon Martin. I’ll be cheering from the sidelines as OLIVER / IIG continues to develop, grow and disrupt over the forthcoming years.As a personal journey, being a part of the story as CFO, leaves me with a deep appreciation as to what needs to be done to create this sort of sustained success.

A software house developing E-Procurement and E-Payables systems for blue chips such as DHL, MTV and Sony. The business grew from £1m to £5m in revenues, including Europe and the US. The software developed was world class, and adopted by Accenture in its early forages into Financial Shared Services.Formative years for me, as I will always cherish working with great people, including the founder, Shane Hussain.The business was ultimately acquired by Bottomline, a US NASDAQ tech company. My first big transaction, which provided a great starting place for my subsequent M&A activites.
