I had the privilege of working with so many wonderful colleagues and friends at all levels from various countries and cultures. Trust and confidence are important in teambuilding.There were challenges of following directives, making things work while ensuring everyone was well cared for. But it was always comforting when I am able to emphatise and help a fellow colleague even if he / she is not from the same department. Each difficulty overcome and each problem resolved, especially in a new environment, is always very fulfilling. I started work from the bottom as an Accounts Assistant and plan my way up to Financial Controller within 8 years. I have worked in many interesting industries including publishing, electronics, duty free, properties, recreation clubs, sports, landscape construction and now healthcare.In Russia, I had meetings with the mafia boss negotiating for the return of our products. I stayed 2 months in Hong Kong resolving warehouse issues and 1 month in Seoul setting up ERP systems. I have reduced DSO from 180 days to 45 days and improve cashflows for companies that find difficulties paying salaries on time. Improving and automating processes have always motivated me to do better in my work environment.
