I am a senior scientist specialising in climate and disaster risk analytics. My work aims at providing risk information for disaster risk management and financial solutions predominantly in ODA recipient countries. I am conducting climate risk assessments, tailoring complex information to stakeholders and decision makers, and lecturing on the topics of climate change and the use of risk information. My previous academic career included climate prediction modelling and the analysis of extreme meteorological and climate events primarily European wind storms.
