May 2024, I now start a new journey into adult care services as my first foster child now turns 18 and remains with me, whilst I continue to be a Foster Carer with my 2nd long term child just into his 2nd year with us.In November 2022 I continue my journey as a Therapeutic Foster Carer, specifically for children who have experienced trauma in early years, and am now working with the Caldecott Foundation in Ashford, Kent.In 2015 I embarked on a new journey into the world of Therapeutic Foster Care, providing a Safe Base for children in care who have experienced early years trauma, creating a secure attachment enabling the child to develop to the best of their ability.In October 2018 I was finalist in 3 categories of the inaugural annual community awards including “Foster Carer Of The Year”, and winning Foster Champion. In March 2019 I was nominated as an Ambassador for the foster carers within Channels & Choices.In Sep ‘19, I was promoted to a senior foster carer role of “Specialist Therapeutic Foster Carer”.In October 19 I was finalist for the 2nd year, for “Foster Carer of The Year”, and won The organisations “Community Award” recognising my contribution across different aspects of the Fostering community.In October 19, I also took on a pt role as “Forest School Assistant”, helping to prepare and establish the organisations new Forest School.Previously in the commercial world, has held senior positions in the Logistics industry spanning a career of over 35 years with on-going proven success, of National Sales Manager / Senior Client Manager / Sales Performance Manager UK & EU (Deputised for DHL Express - UK Sales Director) / National Sales Support/Coaching Manager / General Service Centre Manager / Area Sales Manager & also created his own Consultancy business supporting the SME market.A natural and enviable attention to detail enables results driven success at various levels, encompassing communication, planning, deployment and implementation of detailed projects across the UK & EU, embracing and driving change processes. Specialties: Managing and driving sales performance through, KPI creation & analysis, and team / 1-1 coaching at senior levels including RSM/ASM.
