Having always had a profound interest in architecture and design from a young age, as well as gaining first-hand experience in restoration's and new builds after training as a carpenter, I am ecstatic to finally train to be an architect and be a fundamental part in this process. Being vehement about the design and build processes, I am obsessed with the idea of true craft, whether traditional or innovative. I believe that giving a material the right detail and finish can heighten the sense of materiality as well as compliment and enrich the build. Integrity, reliability, as well as commitment underpin an exceptional drive and perseverance to achieve new career goals through advanced training and practice in architecture. A resourceful and highly motivated individual, with strong communication and organisational skills which have been developed over many years, experiences and professional positions, makes me accustomed to high pressure situations and deadlines whilst remaining calm and professional. With a proven ability to operate comfortably in both managerial and team roles, my professional attributes boast an outgoing individual who enjoys learning innovative practices and concepts to aid and advance my understanding of architecture and design.
