Finding suitable candidates to sign up , sign up candidates using current documentation , explain to candidate all the procedures , the method of assessment , their rights and expectations, what was expected of them for completion , the frequency of the visits agreed , what level they would be completing , what was in it for them . I then ensure the paperwork is correctly filled out for it to be processed . I would normally enrole my own learners , and so then the first visit would entail an observation and some questions to properly assess what tasks they were completing and choosing the suitable units to assess them on . It is my job to ensure they have received the correct level of training for their job ,and liaise with their own trainer to ensure this is carried out in advance of the starting of the assessments . Any issues that arise during assessment would be reported to the leaner and also to the trainer if they felt more training was required . My tasks also include the questioning of the learner to ensure knowledge was to the required level and two visual assessments or additional evidence . After each visit I fill in a register of hours spent with the learner . On completion I send the portfolios for verification , and once done , apply for certification . The certificates are then handed out by myself .I am also responsible for verification of other assessors portfolios from within my department , as an internal verifier .
