Age Concern Ceredigion affiliated to Age Cymru in March 2011 and became Age Cymru Ceredigion. Age Cymru Ceredigion is completely independent from the national organisation but proud to work closely with Age Cymru and Age UK. Part of EST’s management team with senior strategic level representative role in the regions, tasked with capacity building, delivering commercial contracts whilst meeting corporate aims and objectives. Main responsibilities and achievements included:Delivering £1m+ commercial contracts in addition to Government contracts in excess of £1.5m over the period.Playing a significant advocacy role to lead three English regions to adopt low carbon futures.Developing profitable partnerships with private and public sector, Local Enterprise Partnerships and those seeking consultancy services focused on low carbon, sustainable futures.

CEO of the statutory body providing judicial judgements on appeals against and liability for local taxes, including Council Tax and Non Domestic Rates. Main responsibilities included:Implementing substantial new statutory regulations alongside organisational change thereby improving customer service and value for money.Fulfilled ambassadorial role for the service both within and outside Wales.Selected as forum leader to determine the operational and legislative needs for the service.Full management and financial responsibility for the service in Wales with an annual budget in excess of £1.5m.

Executive Director with responsibility for the day-to-day management of the company’s staff and portfolio of projects – including a range of private and social housing projects and services. Main accountabilities included:Implementing a business change to create a company-wide understanding of the Government’s policy framework for sustainable energy.Building successful partnerships with Registered Providers, Local Authorities, regeneration partnerships and other stakeholders. Formulating appropriate strategies, plans and policies to guide and develop the organisation.Managed, Central Midlands Energy Advice Centre, Chaired, West Midlands Sustainable Housing Partnership and sector working group member of the Energy Efficiency Partnership for Homes.
