Simon Zhao is the Director of Strategy & Planning in Global High-End Brands Business Group, H World Group Limited. He graduated with Distinction-Level academic award from Master of Science in International Hospitality Management, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Simon was also certified with the Advanced Certificate of Hospitality Management by Hong Kong Hotels Association. Throughout his career started from 2016, Simon has handled more than 100 hospitality and real estate projects in China, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, performing hotel feasibility studies, resort and tourism destination planning, hotel management company (“HMC”) and brand selection as well as master planning. Before joining Huazhu, Simon accumulated experience when formerly working for Horwath HTL, AECOM and Agon Hotels and Resorts Limited. Simon was invited as the Guest Lecturer of Asset Management master class by École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) and Guest Professor of Consultancy Project course by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
