After many years in the outdoor business working with brands like Arc'teryx and Kona I decided to start my own company in 2010. During these years i have been to many Bike Show, ISPO, meeting with clients and so on. I was Key Accounting Manager/Sales Rep at Kona for 2 years, the first one in Switzerland at the Kona Europe Office and the second remotely from Sweden.I started my own company as a personal trainer but then I decided to go into the bike business and in 2010 I started Bavabici selling and importing bike parts.Since i couldn't find what i wanted myself on the market after some years as shop manager at the Arc'teryx Concept Store in Stockholm and as sales rep for Kona Bikes in Switzerland I decided to import and distribute those brands I couldn't find on my market. I like innovative design and I believe in small entrepreneurs so I started to import and sell small, special brands that deserved to be on the Swedish market. Summer 2015 i decided to study woodworking full time for 2 years and still run my company and when i was done i decided to keep on studying and i started a course in Tailoring and design at Sankt Eriks Gymnasium as i am very interested in sustainable fashion and textile science. This has helped me a lot working in the outdoor business. I finished my studies dec 2018. Since the i have been working as a substitute teacher.I was very dedicated to the bike culture which was hard to find then in Sweden and I also worked a lot digitally to spread the word. You could find Bavabici on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest and Instagram. Everybody in the business knew who Bavabici was due to a lot of interest from magazines, blogs and so on. I have been called to tv shows as a consultant and I had a Pecha Kutcha for Svensk Form and my own show at Galleri Magnolia.My sport interests shifted from biking to diving and sailing due to a big bike accident. But all my efforts never paid the rent so eventually on December 2017 I had to close the webshop and 2019 I closed my company to start a new chapter.In my personal background there is a University degree from Rom's University in literature, three kids, a fourth place in a body building competition 2002 and an atlantic crossing.During covid I followed the Vendee Globe everyday and then I start following the Golden Globe and also studying everything I could about the maritime sector. Last august 2023 I enrolled in Sjösportskolan first course Marintekniker med miljöoptimering. Electricity, motors, the future of the maritime sector, all kind of solutions. Ready june 2024.
