Act as a logistical single point of contact, organizing and monitoring inbound and outbound shipments Assign shipments to designated carriers / agents and ensure pick up Monitor shipment progress, handle exceptions during transportation and inform all affected parties in the supply chain Provide ad hoc transport management for urgent shipments outside of the scope of the regular supply chain network Reflect on and provide alternatives to recurring issues within the supply chain Accrue transportation costs, issue invoices and provide cost reports Support the implementation and stabilization of new projects / processes Partake in continuous improvement workshops Maintain regular contact with all partners, ensuring up-to-date information in the global logistics network
