Key responsibilities• Envision the final product, communicate the vision to the scrum team, and motivate the team to subscribe to the vision, and sees the vision through to completion• Ensure management, stakeholders, and sponsors are informed and the vision is aligned with their wishes; communicate the business benefits of the entire product and each individual feature• Collaborate closely with the scrum team and customers to ensure there is a clear understanding of what features are needed in the product or application• Describe features, collaborate, and communicate with the delivery team, and accept or rejects work results• Clearly expresse Product Backlog items – writes User Stories, define clear acceptance criteria to support the scrum execution• Create, maintain, and outline work in the Product Backlog; determine which activities will produce the most business• Ensure that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and show what the Scrum Team will work on next• Rank the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions• Maintain availability to team, showing commitment by doing whatever is necessary to build the best product possible and being actively engaged with their teams• Understand the market, the customer, the business domain, and the varying needs of different types of users, and work with the user group in order to make sound decisions and determine what features will be in the product release• Prepare the feature requirements, and lead team efforts to create user story mapping for the refinement of requirements with the Scrum team• Work collaboratively within a scrum team to deliver features with the highest customer value• Display leadership in making clear decisions that support the product roadmap and vision• Promote the product vision, and empower the customer/business value proposition internally and externally with the responsibility for setting product direction and prioritization.

Main duties and responsibilities- Product Planning:Working with Product Management to define the content of products and versions via the production of business requirements in the form of product vision documents.Maintaining a list of prioritised feature requests for subsequent assignment to product versions.Gathering feature/requirement requests from any sources available, including but not limited to customers.- Product specification:Specifying customer requirements using appropriate requirement notation in product/user requirements specifications.Prioritisation of requirements.Clarifying requirements concepts with customers/end users during the specification process to ensure that the understanding of their needs is correct at the earliest opportunity within the development process.Coordinating with the development team to specify software requirements and product design that meet the customer/product requirements.Managing Requirements Change Requests.Reviewing any architectural/UI design/low level requirements specifications to ensure they adequately meet the intent of the higher level requirements specifications.-Product verification/Validation:Reviewing test specifications/plans/reports created by development, as required.Prioritisation of defects within products relating to customer/end user needs.Ensuring that products have been adequately tested prior to release to customers/end users.Contributing to/reviewing user documentation.

The role consists of working as part of a project development team throughout the entire software development lifecycle to create test plans and test specifications and execute tests to verify that the software meets its specification as well as validating it meets the intended use.
