During my TESOL degree, I created two Business English courses as a part of an assessment. Because I have experience in Management studies that I undertook during my undergraduate degree, I was able to create pedagogically sound courses with syllabus and testing sections. I have also created an online learning course through VLE Canvas containing self-study notes and tutorial videos.I participated in teaching placement for INTO at the University of Stirling. This placement involved international students seeking to improve their Academic English. During my placement, I usually helped the students in small groups, especially during speaking tasks. I also had the opportunity to teach a portion of the lesson and participate in assessing the students during speaking assessment. This experience helped me gain knowledge about teaching academic English on university level and see how the teachers evaluate students during speaking assessment.I also participated in BP Tutoring Scheme in 2018. This Scheme gave me the opportunity to become a teacher’s assistant in a primary school in P1 (5-6 yrs). I mostly helped with Phonics class, focusing on early reading, writing and pronunciation. I have learned a lot during this scheme, mainly patience with children, and gained an insight into teaching. During those two months I have also improved my communication skills.I am very adaptable and a quick learner. I have been teaching myself to draw, focusing on graphite realistic drawings first, then moving onto digital painting and watercolour painting. As well as drawing, I have been studying Korean and Japanese in my free time. While self study poses a great challenge, I have been motivating myself into continuing with the studies.
