I am a CEO and business leader in the exhibition and media industry. Nearly 30 years ago, I joined the industry and immediately fell in love with the passion, the excitement, and the people in events. I am proud to have led many businesses globally, launching products, building partnerships and in-region businesses, while delivering strong profits through organic growth and acquisitions.Throughout my career, I have sought sustainable growth through understanding and serving the customer. I strive to embrace change, creating more effective and innovative ways to bring people together. It is my goal to build teams and processes that thrive from disruption and change and propel my teams and events, and the overall industry, forward. This is why I am so pleased to be starting Arc, a B2B platform for energising business connections. Our aim is to redefine the business network by creating the next generation events and media business. Prior to Arc, I was CEO of Comexposium, where I led an international transformation of the Group and delivered a sale of the business for the PE shareholders. I was also with UBM plc (now Informa) for 19 years, as CEO of UBM EMEA and UBM Americas. I am Chairman of the Association of Exhibition Organisers (AEO) International Group, and I have been on the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO) Board.I have lived and worked in France, England, the Netherlands, and the United States, and have run businesses and led events all over the world. My favourite way to spend free time is at home with my wife and daughter. I like to watch and play football and rugby, and I go to see live music any chance I get.
