I am responsible for the work package dedicated to the VLEO Space Weather Measurements (ION) payload which focuses on the research of technologies suitable to characterize the space environment in order to contribute to studies about the impact that ionosphere environment has on a space mission and, consequently, to update Space Weather statistical models. In particular, I had the chance to work on currents available technologies for atomic oxygen measurements on orbit, having contacts with experts and researchers who made me aware of the serious damages that atomic oxygen can cause on satellites. UniNa Rockets is the Experimental Rocketry Team of the University of Naples Federico II, of which I am a member of the Department of Flight Dynamics and of which I have been in charge since September 2023. Its main tasks are related to the analysis and simulation of mission trajectories and parachute design.
