As a consulting geologist I created a 5 year drilling program and worked with a team to get ~300 wells permitted and planned to create a drilling inventory in Colorado. This would generate large cash flows for SandRidge, especially with elevated oil prices in today's economic environment. Data mining and analytics of geologic well logs to determine which variables had the largest impact on well economics, which resulted in increased cash flows. Worked on a team to determine optimal well placement for the most economical wells and was able to increase well performance and in turn increased cash flows. Mapped out large fault system in central Oklahoma, the Nemaha Fault System to increase well performance and identify new targets. Using wireline logs split the Mississippian Limestone into 3 separate lithofacies for the operations team to target. Worked on a project determining the lateral extents and profitability of an Upper Devonian shale unit.• Picked 500+ tops for these units, created 50 cross sections throughout study area, Structure Maps, Isopach Maps.• Looked at petrophysical data and picked flow units, cross sections, and isomap from the petrophysical curves.• Worked with engineers to determine fracture stimulation model and had an EUR calculated to determine if this unit was a was a viable drilling unit
