Cutting through the noise of our always-on and frequently fragmented world can be tough. I help people, projects and organisations connect their message to their audience using my decades of experience in story and sound design.My work centres around three key areas:Words – I coach and consult on the use of language and stories to help individuals and organisations craft the right message. From brand naming to tone of voice strategy and effective communication.Sound – I consult on the creative use of sound and sonic branding solutions. This includes my work in composition and sound design for theatre, as well as brand films, branded sonic environments for events, and designing sound for digital environments.Action – I develop the skills of others to use stories and sound in their work. From presentation and sales skills to applying brand tone of voice to communication and customer interaction.I discovered my love for crafting and sharing stories at an early age. Particularly in the way sound can be used as a storytelling tool. This fascination saw me pursue a BA/MA degrees in Contemporary Arts. Then, after a number of years with regional and West End theatres, I took the decision to refocus my career and threw myself into roles in communications and learning in large organisations. This experience allowed me to start my own business in 2011. Here I marry my academic study of story with the world of engaging business audiences and creative communications.
