US Permanent Resident | German citizenAerospace Software Engineer who enjoys working on the intersection between software development and aerospace engineering. Background in structural engineering with several years of experience automating aerospace structural analysis methods in C#, C++, Python, and Excel (cell math and VBA). Switched to the field of flight software to work towards career goal of making a meaningful contribution to human spaceflight. Staying involved with structural analysis by publishing on Onset Theory (master thesis topic – a composite failure criterion).I can see NASA Johnson's human spaceflight center mission control from my office window at Odyssey Space Research, so I think I came to the right place!What motivates me is the opportunity to work on something genuinely new. My preference is a non-hierarchical atmosphere requiring hard work and taking on responsibility, but granting a lot of freedom.I have been doing martial arts since 2000, with a short break from 2016-2018 to try competitive ballroom dancing instead. I have lived in four different countries so far, which has been a very educational experience every time. I also traveled all the way around the world once, and hope to do so again!
