About Simon Babes Fcilt

I’m the Business Group Leader for our Movement Strategies team, the world leaders in people movement.I started my career in the UK Civil Service, followed by Transport for London. I led London Underground’s Modelling & Standards team in 2000 through to 2004. I have subsequently delivered a significant number of high profile consultancy projects in UK, SE Asia, Middle East and China. Prior to joining Movement Strategies in 2015, I set up successful consultancy teams in Shanghai, China (2004 – 2010) and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2012 – 2015).I was a Board Member of the Railway Industry Association (RIA) and the Chair of the SME Group until 2020 and I'm an active mentor, supporting young professionals in their early years. I have over 25 years of experience and I am a native English speaker, as well as being able to converse in Mandarin and Spanish.
