These tools and interventions are based on the internationally recognised concept of strengths based education (see www.strengthsquest.com). Positive psychology recognises that people are naturally more productive when focusing on their strengths rather than their weaknesses (This flies in the face of the current educational model that seeks to develop "well-rounded" individuals)We start with helping staff and senior learners identifying their natural areas of strength and ability. This encourages the development of a process of assessing, teaching, and designing experiential learning activities to help students identify their greatest talents, and to then develop and apply strengths based on those talents in the process of learning, intellectual development, and academic achievement to levels of personal excellence.

HeadSport is a boutique Consulting Agency with specialisation in the power of Team Cohesiveness and Culture as a critical enabler of consistent individual and team performance. We provide an innovative approach that seeks to unlock the power of cohesiveness through a personal, talent based approach that is affirming and empowering. Heavy emphasis is placed on equipping athletes with self knowledge and the ability to self directed. While much of my experience is in Rugby I do work in other sports. I continue to work closely with John Mitchell (England Defence Coach, Blue Bulls and USA Eagles) and assisted Phil Davies with the preparation of the Namibian Mens Rugby side ahead of the World Cup in Japan.

StrengthsEngage was the first of its kind, online learning platform that was designed to help employees understand and identify with Strengths concepts in an easy to access environment that compliments the coaching process. We were one of the first Gallup licensees.Strengthsengage was discontinued in 2019 to make way for the next version which will be released in 2023.
