I am a Developmental Psychologist specializing in ADHD and Autism, with a strong focus on Cyberpsychology. I was one of the founding members of the British Psychological Society's Cyberpsychology Section and currently lead the module on this subject at the University of Derby. I authored the "Understanding Autism, Asperger's & ADHD" MOOC, which has reached over 200,000 students, and published an Amazon #1 Bestseller textbook on the same subject.As a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society, I have delivered keynote talks internationally (UK, Canada, Netherlands), appeared on major media outlets including Fox, CNN, and BBC, and contributed to academic journals such as the British Journal of Developmental Psychology (BJDP) and British Journal of Educational Psychology (BJEP). My research has been supported by numerous grants and awards (e.g., JISC, HEA) in Developmental Psychology, Autism, ADHD, and Virtual Worlds.In addition to my academic and research roles, I am a content creator for Psychology modules at the University of Derby, including the long-running "Autism, Asperger's & ADHD" undergraduate module. I supervise PhD and Master's students in Developmental Conditions and Cyberpsychology, and I am open to new research collaborations and funding opportunities.As the Co-Director of MyChild Services Ltd, I oversee private psychological services and locum Educational Psychology work.
