I conceived and founded DenOfGeek.com in 2007, and have been its Editor-In-Chief across that time. I've overseen its growth from a small website threatened with regular closure, to one of the UK's biggest entertainment websites. I also have been heavily involved in its subsequent US expansion, that began in 2012.I've sourced, organised and run - along with some wonderful people - over 50 reader events in that time. Our first book, Movie Geek, is published by Octopus/Hachette in October 2017.I'm proud to have overseen a site and associated add-ons that have rejected snark, and treated readers properly. To have overseen and been part of the growth of arguably the friendliest, liveliest entertainment site community in the UK, at a time when many others are removing comments and message boards altogether.
