I am a highly respected General Manager and senior sports administrator whose skills and experience have been formed at two of the most distinguished member-based not-for-profit sports organisations, the PGA of Australia and Life Saving Victoria. With a strong Australian and international reputation, my excellent relationship management skills and trusted stakeholder rapport were cultivated in my role as ‘General Manager, Tournaments’ at the PGA. As part of an executive leadership team for nearly 10 years and directly reporting to the CEO, I delivered successful outcomes in strategic and business planning, team leadership, budget management, delivery of international-level events and overall business unit growth. In addition, I held responsibility for the control, sanctioning, operation, management and administration of all PGA tournaments. The role had specific responsibility for the PGA Tour of Australasia, one of the leading professional golf Tours in the world. My time has provided me with a deep understanding of the myriad functions of sporting organisations and the importance of innovation in order to grow and succeed in a cluttered and competitive environment.
