Provide 1st & 2nd line support to retail outlets and to head office using site visits and remote access.Desktop support for Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Office 2000, 2003, 2007.Installation & management of Sage Line200 accounts software.Maintaining and managing company VPN using Watchguard firewalls. Maintaining company servers (Server 2003, 2008, Active Directory, Exchange 2003) and back up strategy (both tape & online).Migration& management of Domain controller to a VMware solution. Installing, configuring and maintaining all IT hardware.Administration of medium size Active Directory organisation, 90 users.Administration of Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES).Upgrading obsolete equipment and software.Maintain and support Epos system, including promotions and software loads to retail outlets.Responsible for purchase and acquisition of new equipment.

Provide 1st line support to a large client base using site visits and remote tools such as VNC and RDP.Desktop support for Office 2000, 2003, 2007 and windows applications.Configure and maintain numerous site to site VPN's, and remote user VPN's. Maintain various enterprise Anti Virus products including Trend, Symantec, McAfee and Sophos.Planning, installing and configuring back up strategies using various back up applications to back up all critical data to tape, disk and online using Symantec Backup Exec, Backup Assist etc. Installing, configuring and maintaining routers both wired and wireless.Installation and administration of small to medium size Active Directory organisations spanning multiple sites and domains.New PC builds and upgrades.

Diagnose and repair all types of PC hardware faults on various makes of computer.Upgrade PC hardware to customer's request.Diagnose and solve software problems on Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP (home & pro).New system home installations including printers, scanners, cameras & wireless home networking.PC builds from both scratch and existing PC's.
