I'm really great at building and fixing things and I think that is because with every tool/skill/methodology I've learned over the years, I've turned into a "jack of all trades" professional. Now I leverage my skills to complete initiatives - building, engineering, and managing projects to achieve objectives in marine/oil and gas industry. Throughout my career, I've worn many hats- Naval Architect, Project Manager, Engineering Manager, Production Supervisor, and Project Engineer. Mastery in multiple areas may confuse some but it has enabled me to efficiently synthesize project information and accurately establish project scope - set project costs and productivity benchmarks - successfully manage and control budgets - develop good working relationships with stakeholders at all levels to build consensus. I've honed skills to effectively train and lead project teams, solve critical issues in a time-sensitive environment all while applying quality assurance, safety/risk management and design expertise. Over the years, I've also gained experience in complying with regulatory bodies: ABS, Lloyd's, DNV, US Coast Guard, and MCA.A few accomplishments I'm proud of include:● Improved quality of products and increased production efficiency by integrating new optimization strategies and training the team of 60 on new processes at Composite Research.● Helped generate $600K profit first year of operation, resulting in enabling patent development at MDG.● Led the engineering project building the largest private motor yacht in the USA, four years in production valued at $220M, involving the subcontracting of over 20 specialist engineering companies around the world at Derecktor Shipyard.I am focused on putting my passion and skills to good use.
