O2 Wallet was a multi-channel product available via apps, PC & mobile web. Product services included: Card Vault (for easy shopping & loading of pre-paid SVA account using UK issued cards & 3DS), Faster Payments cash out, P2P money messages, Shopping services (scan, search & offers), O2 Pay & Go mobile top ups, issuing open loop virtual Visa card or physical Contactless Visa card, and a satellite app – O2 Train Travel for easy purchases of train tickets on the move and advance savings. Prior to the Wallet launch, I was the Product Manager for the O2 Money Card (08/’10 – 12/’11) - a JV with RBS to issue O2 branded pre-paid accounts & open loop Visa cards.During both roles I was the product lead or responsible for:• All regulatory and compliance matters including KYC, AML, TCF, PSD, DPA & e-money regs• Requirements and delivery of new services / features & enhancements• All customer experience touch-points for O2’s E-Wallet including usability & usage,T&C’s, FAQ’s, call centre processes, complaints, technical triage and incident management• Product lead for all Marketing messaging, campaign planning and execution• Responsible for defect identification & usability issues and subsequent change specifications to ensure ‘fit for purpose’• Formulation and co-ordination of new operational processes and system deployments• Planning 2 Bin migrations - from RBS to Wallet Bin sponsor & from sponsor to O2’s own e-money licence & Visa membership• Planning & executing 2 product closure programmesThese roles successfully demonstrated my Financial Services knowledge and leadership, initiative, strong project management skills, crisis management and an understanding of complex financial systems, technical issues and regulatory environments.
