As Head of Security & Resilience at Allianz Global Investors, I am passionate about everything to do with Information Security, Cybersecurity, and Operational Resilience. I leverage my 25+ years' experience in IT, the majority of which have been spent safeguarding organisations and responding to cybercrime, fraud, and other disruption events. I am keen to collaborate with cross-industry groups, speak at conferences, and share best practices. I was previously a Director in EY’s EMEIA Cybersecurity practice based in Dublin, where I spent my early years as an ethical hacker and investigating fraud and cybercrime. My later years were spent helping organisations protect themselves from cyber-attackers and to avoid incidents in the first place. As a Consultant I had the privilege of meeting Boards and Regulators, and driving international standards, all with the objective of raising awareness of how we can enhance stability in global markets.
