CurrentAs the Lead Developer of TRAC, HSBC's sophisticated in-house portfolio management system, I have played a pivotal role in its inception and continuous enhancement. Since joining the project at its inception, I have been instrumental in transforming TRAC into a robust tool that empowers fund managers to efficiently run their passive equity funds.Key Responsibilities:System Development & Leadership: Spearheaded the creation of TRAC, collaborating closely with a fellow developer. Currently leading a dedicated team of three developers, driving innovation and ensuring the system meets evolving business needs.Data Integration: Orchestrated seamless integration with critical data sources such as RIMES for index data, Bloomberg AIM for fund data, and Bloomberg PolarLake for market data. Enabled TRAC to interface effectively with Bloomberg AIM for trading operations and Ultumus for ETF requirements.Technical Expertise: Utilised C# in ASP.NET for developing the application, with SQL Server as the back-end database. Ensured high performance, reliability, and scalability of the system to handle extensive data processing and analytics.System Enhancements: Continuously improved system functionalities based on user feedback and industry best practices, maintaining a high standard of performance and user satisfaction.TRAC has become an indispensable tool within HSBC, demonstrating my commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions that drive business success.
