Led redevelopment of CreditExpert platform to move to credit comparison product (CreditMatcher). Led workstream on microservice development for platform redesign (including AWS, .NET Core).Finally, I also won two performance-related awards across whole of ECS (multiple geographies).

Worked on the online banking platform adding a self-contained AngularJS application that detailed the users financial portfolio (assets, liabilities, property, etc.). Lead the development of the front-end part of the application, applying concepts of design patterns, client-side unit testing and code quality metrics.This was an excellent role and I was very sad when I left to permanently move back to the UK.

Working in .NET 3.5 to develop a web application using an MVP design pattern in an n-tier architecture, while using LINQ at the data access layer.

Responsible for the development of a business process website built using the Singularity Business Process Suite (now Kofax TotalAgility). Worked to develop assemblies containing utility methods and custom control. Redesigned the UI and UX of the workflow website. Created unit and integration tests using NUnit and user interface tests using Visual Studio 2010 testing tools.

The SQS Group is the largest independent provider of software testing and quality management services. Among its clients are Barclays, BP, Credit Suisse, Daimler, Deutsche Bank, T-Mobile and Zurich Group.The role required me to redevelop, bug-fix and package an application to aid the company in their desire to have the application certified for Microsoft SQS Server 2005. This work was extremely important to the company as it enabled them to attain their "Gold Partnership" status with Microsoft and thereby assume the benefits entitled.

Work on back-end and front-end developments, while also performed network maintenance and server/application backup.Deputised for Team Leader in meetings, and managed the Loot.com infrastructure in their absence.

Worked on systems supporting various areas of the business, from finance & HR systems to student accommodation websites, while also responsible for ascertaining and documenting user requirements, then modelling and implementing new systems.

Employed during placement year from University.Responsible for providing onsite user support.Solely responsible for management of support on two remote sites (Luton and Leamington Spa).Given responsibility for managing the software license migration during take over by Heinz in late 2000.Entrusted with administrative rights to the entire network (the first time this had been granted to a placement student).Offered the opportunity of continuing working after my placement year (which was declined in favour of continuing my studies).
