My main role was to analyze, review and implement changes to websites so they are optimized for search engines. This means maximizing the traffic to a site by improving page rank within search engines. An SEO Specialist will develop original content to include keyword or phrases that will increase traffic to a site. They may also test and implement testing various search engine marketing techniques, web site layouts and advertising for search engine optimization.

I had many different roles at Vision. At first I was strictly running the Test Lab as a side project of the Engineering Department department, so they could see how their designs manifest in real time conditions. In reality all windows need to be accredited by CSA or another accrediting body blah blah blah, to be in accordance with different Building Codes in Ontario. So, when we sent them the material to build the windows, they sent back a finished product (vinyl windows, aluminum windows, alumunim doors, steel component reinforcements, and fences) to be tested "In House". We had a state of the art test lab for all conditions that was run and managed by myself and overseen by whom I can only call RO and Tony due to privacy and security. After the "In House" results matched perfectly with the official test lab results, we had a way to perfect our product before being finalized and avert massive problems like water buildup in the window sill which causes flooding. Think of it, just by punching a hole and exposing the interior air pressure to the outside. Maintenance calls are cut in half! One prefabbed machine at an assembly line can be as vital as as an entire work fire. I was always taught to work smarter there, not harder. So, once I had assisted most of our major clients through this process of perfecting their systems. I was brought on as a Junior Designer. This way I could alleviate some stress from the design team which was already inundated with regular customer design tweaks, new R&D designs, and test results coming in so they could make those changes.
