Learning new things, building cool projects, and interacting with amazing people is what I live for. Each day is a new opportunity to do awesome tech stuff.My primary focuses are Cybersecurity, Linux and Computer Programming.While I am familiar with a variety of subjects, I wouldn't call myself a subject matter expert but I do my best to understand the basics.In cybersecurity, I'm faimilar with the following: red/blue teaming, exploit hunting and reverse engineering. I'm using such resources as Hack The Box (HTB) for competitive hacking, PicoCTF, Try Hack Me and various textbooks such as "The Ghidra Book - The Definitive Guide by Chris Eagle". I keep up to date with information on cyber through Sophos, Schneier on Security, and Krebs on Security.Within the Linux world, I'm always learning new things. My primary tools are Bash, Neovim, tmux, Podman (for containers), Kubernetes, Snort, Ansible and Arch Linux. I'm working on becoming more active within the open-source communities so to better my Linux administration skills - such as hosting services like Invidious. Resources I've been using lately to educate myself are "UNIX and Linux System Adminitration Handbook by Evi Nemeth et al." and "Linux Commad Line and Shell Scripting Bible by Richard Blum".For computer programming, I have used various languages over the years, jumping around, but I feel that I have a good grasp on it. Recently, I've been using Go (Golang), but I do have experience in: Java, Shell, Expect, C, C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and x86-64 Assembly (From Go and C binaries). I have yet to contribute to open-source projects but hope to do so in the not too distant future. My current personal projects include a blog for myself, a personal note-taking application, and hacking on the PineTime.
