Desktop Modernisation Programme - Migration from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and Office 365 for Interserve Construction

• Responsible for project managing all business and IT led major system changes to the Society’s core systems including Core System, Desktop, Network, Server, Voice, Database, Storage and Hardware.
• Successfully led the IT delivery of the training work stream for the Society in preparation for the Mortgage Market Review in 2014.
• With an overall budget of £4m, established an IT project team to deliver core system changes as part of a drive to improve efficiencies within the mortgage processing lifecycle.
• Successfully project managed the upgrade of the Society’s core database architecture from Oracle 10g to 11g. Completed ahead of schedule with zero impact on business operations.
• Delivered an upgraded call recording solution to the contact centre operation in line industry regulations and in readiness to support PCI compliance.
• Established a project team and defined the approach to upgrade the Windows Desktop estate to Windows 7 and Office 2010.

• Project Manager accountable for planning, resourcing and overseeing the delivery of the ALERT® suite of products within both public and private sectors. Key responsibilities include:
• Worked with Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre NHS Foundation Trust and Dell to successfully manage the implementation of ALERT® PFH in the A&E department as part of a £10m programme initiative.
• Conversed with work stream leads to produce a detailed implementation plan to allow effective allocation of project resource throughout project phases to enable delivery against agreed plan and cost.
• Ensured all risks and issues were managed by means of maintaining a risk and issues log and escalating where appropriate to the project board.

• Hands-on IT Project Manager overseeing a team of 5 Infrastructure Analysts, responsible for the management of IT infrastructure projects supporting the delivery of new services or hardware refreshes for Hospira EMEA..
• Led the IT integration of the former company Mayne Pharma PLC with Hospira. Established a project team and developed a rapport with both UK and US resources to achieve defined objectives. Charged with overseeing all.
• Worked as part of a global project team to ensure infrastructure readiness and oversee the service transition process for SAP implementations at 9 European locations including UK, Spain and Germany.
• Initiated and managed the deployment of a £100k HP/Mitel VOIP solution for the Hospira offices. This led to an overall telephony cost reduction of c.20%.
• Defined the EMEA support process post acquisition of Mayne Pharma by Hospira. Worked with US and UK support organisations to define service level agreements and align and improve support processes.
• Planned and implemented the IT infrastructure for a new commercial office in located in Dubai. This involved the management of 3rd parties to meet stringent deadlines set by the local business.

• A diverse role as a member of the EMEA infrastructure team. Responsible for delivery of the technical aspects of projects in addition to providing a service desk function to the EMEA business.Achievements:
• Designed, tested and implemented a centralised Microsoft Exchange 2003 Environment to replace the existing de-centralised Exchange 5.5 solution for the EMEA business.
• Replaced 10 Windows NT domains throughout the EMEA region with 1 Active Directory 2003 domain including Group Policy configuration.
• Implemented Microsoft ISA Server 2004 to provide web-proxy services as well as web content control and reporting for EMEA.
• Rolled out an improved VPN solution to all EMEA remote users utilising Microsoft ISA Server 2004.
