Simon began his career in marketing and advertising, building his skills and experience across a number of leading Australian Advertising agencies before deciding to start Bastion Brands. As a business founder and father of three young daughters, Simon is passionate about innovating and pioneering the healthcare marketing space by encouraging the adoption of new techniques combined with traditional methods. He believes the Covid pandemic has provided a great moment for healthcare marketing to take the centre stage and become mainstream, Bastion Brands are the leading healthcare marketing agency in Australia. He is renowned as a brand strategist and is a sought-after speaker on topics including key trends in the pharmaceutical marketing landscape, multi-channel marketing and the intersection of science and emotion in healthcare marketing. Simon has an MBA from Monash University, where he created a new branding methodology for his thesis, and is a proud supporter of Essendon Football Club, where he founded the Essendon Executive Club business network. He is also a recent alumnus of The Marketing Academy, completing a highly competitive scholarship program for marketing leaders and a member of YPO United chapter in Melbourne, Australia.
