Director, Customer SolutionsI am responsible for customer solution orchestration and assembling the most appropriate teams to pursue opportunities to help businesses and organizations run betterOBJECTIVES / RESPONSIBILITIES- Accountable for deal qualification and solution engineer deal execution- Contribute to deal and account strategy- Determine which accounts need solution captains and work with LOB directors to assign- Lead or delegate customer survey calls to discovery key business objectives and the corresponding value associated with meeting those objectives- Assemble required solution engineer team in coordination with LOB directors and other VAT team members as needed to determine resources best suited to win the opportunity- Leverage my broad solution knowledge and that of the VAT to assist with creative solution development, ensuring delivery of the most competitive, value based solution SAP can offer to meet customer objectives- Drive sales cycle process and solution engineer team involvement (coordinating discovery process, lead dry runs, manage post demo debriefs, support VE engagements, etc.)- Assist the account executive to create the relevant sales bill of material- Orchestrate and participate in customer facing eventsOPPORTUNITY / ACCOUNT PRIORITIZATION- Align with Sales VP(s) to drive revenue for the territory- Contribute to territory and account strategy- Prioritize opportunities with Sales VP prior to conflict resolution- Understand cost estimates and is able to have intelligent conversations with sales about the deal- Participate in quarterly business reviewsSHARING & TEAM GROWTH- Share knowledge with other directors- Communicate with LOB directors on needs in their LOB area- Provide solution engineers with real time coaching in deals- Perform deal research
