At Perch, we aim to improve the experience, health and well-being, for everyone. We formulate designs based on published data, evolution and observations. We conceptualise based on an informed understanding of the complete Eco-system, from an industrial design discipline. We rigorously test, analyse and re-inform ourselves, to safe guard against complacency and ignorance.Or first globally launched product range is RAY; a completely new concept in school furniture. This is a result from a very successful international collaboration between Hans Thyge & Co. and Labofa A/S and we believe that this has the potential to completely revolutionise the way we think about sitting: and it looks beautiful.Perch is a vibrant, inventive design house. We were formed in 2008, after receiving international recognition for our work in health positive school furniture design. We adopt a ‘User Centered Design’ approach to problem solving. As an entrepreneurial Irish company, we are committed to invent, simplify and create beautiful designs that will improve the quality of living.

I regularly Lecturer at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in Dublin with the Industrial Design course. I regularly teach and tutor students during a wide range of projects. I also teach outside of the ID course to other design courses within the college and regularly teach software courses - such as Adobe CS and 3D CAD applications including visualisation techniques

The research, design and evaluation of a new generation of ergonomic school furniture

The project emerges from ongoing and previous research undertaken in the Industrial Design Department at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin through its graduate school GradCAM and its international collaborators in the area of school furniture design and analysis. While there is a wide range of student task furniture available on the market today, most of it is inadequate to meet the postural needs of pupils and particularly in the context of the accelerating introduction of advanced classroom information technology.

Kablamo provide a range of design services, from Interior Design, Industrial design, from concept through to prototyping and completion, marketing, graphic design and project management. We specialise in 3D visualisation, and have provieded many training courses within colleges and companies in all aspects of 3D work. We are technically adept and focused on providing a turnkey service to all our clients.

I managed a small design room, in the shop fitting industry. We provided a complete turnkey solution for retail outlets of all kinds, from pharmacy to fashion outlets. The job included managing staff, delegating work, conceptualisation, detail design, surveying, client presentation, project management, graphic design, and prototyping.

I worked here primarily as a concept and detail designer who looked after 3D visuals, graphics, and detail for production work.Kablamo Design Services, now regularly work closely with Featureline on many projects.

I worked with marketing engineering and management. We were heavily involved with photography, graphic design, 3D modelling, visualisation, technical writing, re-branding, prototyping for production of new patented concepts. Kablamo Design services now provide a comprehensive service to Freefoam on an ongoing basis - from illustrative technical drawings, to marketing related material, visualisations and graphic & product design.
