As Head of Client Success my achievements included: - Working directly with many, many clients across a wide range of sectors and scales - Establishing, growing and running the Client Success team, from a single solo operator to a team of 25 - As part of the growth phase putting in place ever-increasing structure and process in the name of improved client experience and increasing efficiency, including: - Restructuring the team to split into three separate functions - operations, onboarding and customer success - Formalising the service level model and segmenting the team accordingly - Implementing a centralised CS management tool and training the team to use it - Hosting and compering the annual Mention Me client event, with over 250 attendees

My role encompassed business development, sales, client project delivery and numerous other responsibilities. Achievements included: - The creation of new digital propositions to take to market around wearable technology, data and analytics and technology driven innovation - Managing PA’s partnership with Google UK, covering joint marketing and sales opportunities and working closely with the Google team in the UK - Speaking at numerous events on the topics of data analysis, innovation and the implications of wearable technologies - Line management for junior consultants - Running PA’s offshore delivery function - a team of 25 software developers and testers based in Bangalore, India - The creation and delivery of training courses covering successful commercial practices in assignment delivery and new joiner induction - Designing and helping run a national competition to encourage school children to use the Raspberry Pi

I ran a project to deliver an internal workflow and reporting portal for this small but very successful investment management company. With a combined onshore and offshore team we implemented a reporting platform that gave the CFO a near real-time view of his entire investment portfolio weighted according to the performance of the underlying borrowing companies, an enormous step forward.

I helped launch this venture by building the core technology. I took charge of setting up and running a project to deliver a high performance, high volume, secure, scaleable and resilient online database to deliver anti-illicit trade services to pharmacists. Once the platform had successfully launched I managed the transition of knowledge and responsibility to the nascent Aegate business as it grew. I still provide occasional consulting support.

Over a ten year period I took on various roles at this venerable City Institution. Amongst my successes were running the development team to recover a failed project and make sure it delivered by an immovable deadline, conducting a review of two similar systems to make recommendations to the CEO and CTO, and establishing and running a new solution design function to oversee all software delivery.

As part of a major operational transformation programme, I ran several different workstreams during the nearly two year period I spent with this client. I started out helping with programme definition by running a piloting team building demonstrators, and then transitioned into leading a workstream delivering common technical components for use by the various delivery streams.My team was able to assure a common look and feel across the disparate applications delivered in the programme.

I lead a ten person development team to help this client recover a failed project to implement their on-line account servicing system. Starting from scratch within six months we managed to launch the first UK real-time credit card application decisioning system.

I ran the software development team for the lovely dot com start-up SafeDoor, part of a Securicor venture. I did hands on team leading all the way from piloting various concepts through to launching a full operational website and the associated business.Great fun.
