Actively involved in the provision of Technical Assistance on behalf of the World Food Programme to the Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines. This includes the execution of various activities under Technical Agreements with the Ministry of National Mobilisation and the National Emergency Management Organization. Additionally, I contribute to initiatives under the Joint Programme between WFP and FAO, to support resilient livelihoods and food security through data, digitalization, and sectoral linkages in SVG and the Commonwealth of Dominica.I also played a key role in supporting the distribution of food kits in Barbados during the December 2022 - January 2023 period. This involved partnering with the Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs to assist over 5,000 households.During my first year at WFP, I supported the implementation of the La Soufriere Relief Grant in response to the 2021 La Soufriere volcanic eruption in St Vincent and the Grenadines. This involved providing assistance in designing, setting up, delivering, and ultimately closing a Cash Based program in collaboration with Western Union International, as well as a Voucher program in partnership with Massy Stores LTD. These programs supported over 3,000 households in SVG.
