Some of my previous teaching positions have been challenging on many levels, and I have learnt the importance of recognising, and accommodating for, the different learning styles of students. I maximise my students’ chances of success by setting and maintaining high, but realistic, expectations and adapting the curriculum appropriately to meet individual needs and requirements.The importance of nurturing students in both an academic and pastoral role is always a priority for me. I provide a safe learning environment, which fosters the best opportunities for my students to achieve their highest potential in order to develop into a valuable contributing member of society.I make many connections with the community through my varied curricular and extra-curricular activities, which I believe is important for strong links between a school and its community.
