Sieur d'Arques was built in 1946 and is today one of the biggest cooperative winemakers in Limoux, south of France. We sell both still and sparkling wine of high quality, but we were mostly known for the local product: La Blanquette de Limoux, which was invented before the Champagne in 1531. The Blanquette is therefore the first sparkeling wine ever made, and this makes Sieur d'Arques a big tourist attraction in the region Languedoc-Roussillon (now Occitanie). I have worked at Sieur d'Arques since August 2014 as a Sales Consultant in thier two stores. My work included: - Costumer service- Selling wines in store and by phone- Administration- Do wine tastings and guided tours of the museum- Preparing and dispatching small orders for private costumers- Inventory management - Shared responsibility of training new trainees and apprentices - Updating costumer data- Secure loyal costumers- Assisting at local events organized by Sieur d'Arques such as: Toques & Clochers, Bulles sonores and Féria de Limoux.
