An exciting and diverse opportunity where I have the opportunity to lead projects, collaborate and with MAPW members as well as to engage with partner organisations such as the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) and the Campaign for an Iraq War Inquiry. This work as provided me with excellent administration skills, including member outreach and engagement, mail outs, e-newsletters and event organising. Current projectsParliamentary appeal week In partnership with ICAN, the Parliamentary Appeal week is encouraging members of the community to meet with their local politician to ask them to sign an appeal stating their support for a ban on nuclear weapons. It is a part of a global initiative, over 600 parliamentarians have signed from across the world. Some of my tasks and responsibilities include, initiating and collaborating on innovative campaign strategies, outreaching to networks and organisations, arranging appointments with politicians, as well as guiding people through the process of meeting with their local representative.
