My name is Simone Cameron, and I am currently a third grade teacher in the San Juan Unified School District. I have previous experience working in the Sacramento Catholic Diocese, where I worked with: transitional kindergarten, first grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, sixth grade, seventh grade, and eighth grade. Before starting my teaching career, I graduated from Saint Francis High School with a teaching scholarship. Working with children is my career dream, and I feel that teaching would be the best way to accomplish this. I graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a degree in Liberal Studies as well as a minor in English. After receiving my Bachelors degree, I attended the University of San Francisco in order to obtain my Master’s in Education as well as my Multiple Subject Teaching credential, which I am currently in the process of clearing. It is my opinion that the best teachers are the ones that make a difference in more ways than one. The ones who are remembered by students long after they’ve been taught. I aspire to be that for all of the students I teach.
