Simone is a filmmaker, photographer & sound-designer based in Brighton, specialising in arts and music projects.Her background is in the music production industry, previously working in management roles at Europe's leading pro-audio specialist (working with Fox Productions, The Rolling Stones, Calvin Harris). She has a degree in Music Performance from the University of Westminster.Simone’s production and management skills, combined with her acute creativity and industriousness, meant she was well primed for the film industry. In the past three years, Simone has worked as a Producer/Director, Camera Operator and Editor both as a freelancer, and as a trusted team member for production companies such as Big Hair, Preen and Eastwood Records. Selected clients include Ellesse UK, Philharmonia Orchestra, Serpentine Galleries and Tomorrow’s Warriors. Simone has an aptitude for creating emotive and engaging content and is interested in the interaction between visuals and sounds, which she believes to be two sides of the same coin. With a foot in each industry, Simone is the full package when it comes to projects which are both visually and sonically striking.Simone believes that the intention of both visual and sound recordings is to capture the most inspired moments. She believes this is a forgotten element of production: bringing the right energy to a shoot. Simone has been repeatedly praised for crafting an effortless production environment, through her boundless optimism and focus - which she considers fundamental to an enticing end product.

Funky Junk is Europe’s leading supplier of professional recording equipment. I was responsible for designing logistical processes and managing a team of engineers who built and repaired new and vintage professional recording equipment. I also managed the company’s logistical operations in the shipping and warehouse department, shipping recording equipment worldwide.Prior to my promotion at Funky Junk, I was involved in website management - populating product pages, writing HTML codes, front/back end testing, price-matching, as well as graphic design for marketing efforts.
