Incorporate lessons learned and delineate differences between global and local specifications to standardize approaches, enhancing FA value delivery in collaboration with CP. - Act as the primary contact for lifecycle support of Projects and Asset Integrity investments for filling lines.- Define standard maintenance models for after-sales SLAs, including spare parts stock management. These models will be integrated into global FA, with the aim of adoption by regional teams for efficient operation and maintenance of filling lines tailored to respective business requirements.- Provide assurance on HSSE aspects of filling lines hardware globally, devising mitigation plans to manage risks for LSC accordingly.- Drive continuous improvement of global processes such as R&I to optimize effectiveness and efficiency. Ensure compliance and negotiate local deviations as necessary.- Lead efforts to enhance maintenance performance and efficiency for LSC.- Review and approve/reject global and local/regional changes to agreed processes based on impact assessments conducted by process experts. In the engineering space, the role of a global SME for filling lines to drive consistency. Effectively, this role will:- Act as Technical Authority to establish and interpret standards for filling lines, including all requirements appropriately within LSC.- Single focal point accountability for all filling lines standardization / modernization / opportunity for improvement across the globe. Act as SME for FA renewal.- Support on finalization and ensuring all requirements and interest from different regions are captured as part of FA renewal for filling lines. Define the technical standards, cover technical aspect and technical design specification for filling lines incorporating Shell requirements, business needs and other external market technology. - Define after sales SLA standard maintenance models, which include spare parts stock management. These standard models will be incorporated into global FA, aspiration is these to be adopted by regional team for run and maintain of filling lines through call off that suits respective business needs. - Provide technical support to filling line Contract Holders across 3 regions across the opportunity lifecycle, from design study review till project completion (installation, commissioning & SAT) in support of local teams in the different plants, including troubleshooting support as required. - Provide technical review and assurance on filling line supplier qualifications globally in collaboration with CP.- Provide technical assurance role to business development to ensure fit for purpose application of specifications, and maximization of value as part of opportunity development. In my role overseeing laboratory quality control for oil production, packaging, and finished products, I manage a range of testing procedures using both automatic and manual equipment. This includes utilizing kinematic viscometers Herzog for viscosity measurements, conducting dynamic viscosity tests (Cold Cranking), and performing qualitative and quantitative analysis for metals using Perkin Elmer ICP.Additionally, I utilize Perkin Elmer IR spectrophotometers to monitor specific absorption bands of finished products, base oils, and additives, assessing factors such as oxidation and nitration levels. I also employ titration methods, including KF titration for measuring water content in certain products, and assess parameters such as TBN (Total Base Number) and TAN (Total Acid Number) to gauge the neutralization capabilities of oils. pH control is conducted using devices with electrodes such as Mettler Toledo.Further tests include evaluating time filterability, PE anti-freeze properties, flash points (both closed and open cup methods), Noak tests, foaming tests, and various distillation techniques (although some are not personally utilized).In addition to these routine laboratory tasks, I manage product certification and customer service processes, including handling disputes submitted by external customers through CSC (Customer Service Center).
