Working as a curator in training at Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen has taught me about internal and external collaboration, collection history and policies and making exhibitions during a time in which the museum was renovating, reflecting and realizing Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen. During my internship at the Curatorial Department of Modern & Contemporary Art, I assisted with the collaborative exhibition 'This is Surrealism!' that was on show at the Cobra Museum in Amstelveen. In addition, I researched internal and external collection policies for a published Boijmans Studie on the donation of a group of surrealist artworks under the supervision of Saskia van Kampen-Prein (Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art).• Researching selected objects, writing and editing object-related wall texts and conducting additional tasks for the exhibition 'This is Surrealism!'• Assisting registrars during build-up of 'This is Surrealism!' and other external exhibition projects with condition checks, reporting on artwork transportation and other courier tasks• Writing a proposal for the potential relocation of collected objects • Researching and describing acquisitions• Updating object records in TMS• Researching internal and external collection policies (through archives and relations) and sub-collections relevant to recent donations• Inventorying bodies of surrealist work collected by Dutch museums and cultural institutions

Researching and inventorying the Allard Pierson UvA Special Collections of 19th and early 20th century paper and books for the exhibition ‘Goddesses of Art Nouveau’ and assisting the guest curator and project manager by conducting administrative and project-related tasks (Department of Programming & Exhibitions), assisting with public and allround museum activities, writing a manual for handling and exhibiting books and works on paper in close collaboration with the department of conservation and restoration (Department of Collections), inventorying a small collection of Paul Poiret's book illustrations under supervision of the curator of printed works.

In my Front Office role at RAI, I represented the company’s conference centre and theatre during events, conferences, shows and art fairs, guiding clients and companies in the process of building up their stands and exhibiting their products and services.

Internship at the Department of Heritage at Het Nieuwe Instituut, during which I assisted with the realization of the exhibition 'Architecture and Interiors: the Desire for Style' that was on display at Gemeentemuseum Den Haag (now Kunstmuseum Den Haag). Writing texts about exhibited objects for an informative leaflet that accompanied the exhibition, presenting the object selection to an interested audience in the archive (Rijkscollectie voor Nederlandse Architectuur en Stedenbouw), conducting assisting tasks for the curator.As an extension of my internship at Het Nieuwe Instituut, I conducted object-oriented and archival research on Thonet and Gispen furniture designed for Huis Sonneveld in Rotterdam.
