I am a very motivated person with a long breath that likes to tackle complex questions. Being a problem solver, I thrive in challenging situations and follow a solution-oriented approach.Working at McKinsey allowed me to combine my analytical and scientific background, knowledge of research, and strong problem-solving skills with my understanding of workflows and interfaces in a GMP regulated environment to address topics across the life science value chain.Women's health and empowering women is a topic that excites me and accompanies a lot of what I do.

Trainee ManufacturingCsl Behring Oct 2020 - Nov 2022During the trainee program I got to see various aspects of operational workflows and interfaces in a GMP regulated environment. Rotating through different departments over the 2 years allowed me to get a deep understanding of what is required to successfully deliver safe therapies to patients. I could leverage my problem solving skills and technical and life science background to create solutions in various settings.During my time in the Process Analytical Technology group my focus was on establishing an enzymatic assay to measure proteolytic activity real-time at-line. It also included building chemometric models based on NIR spectroscopy to assess component concentrations at-line during manufacturing processes. As scientific operational support in the Rhophylac manufacturing plant I was driving the establishment of automated process parameter analysis (in Statistica) enabling real-time data analysis and increasing data availability among other responsibilities. The trainee program also gave me the opportunity to learn about various CMC aspects and tasks as I rotated through the different departments, including deviation management, root-cause analysis, definition of CAPAs, change management and implementation, conducting and oversight of cleaning and process validations including technical review of validation-documentation, document management, and finally project management of e.g., EHS or clean-room facility projects -

Phd CandidateUniversity Of Bern Dec 2015 - Jul 2020Bern, SwitzerlandMy core responsibility was the planning and execution of my own research projects. I was mainly working on the characterization of proton pumping membrane proteins involved in the energy metabolism of cells. Also included was the writing of scientific publications and grant applications as well as oral and written presentations at national and international conferences and meetings. As a PhD candidate I could also mentor two Bachelor and two Master students. This included guiding the students in data research, data collection, the designing and planning of experiments using biochemical techniques, as well as the preparation and presentation of results.Another task was the teaching of biochemistry laboratory courses for udergraduate students. This involved teaching of theoretical background and of the experimental (hands-on) part of the laboratory courses in biochemistry, as well as correcting and grading of reports and observing final oral examinations. -
