Role and responsibilitiesThe main role of the General Council is to support the EAIE’s vision, mission and values.Along with the other General Council members, I am responsible for:• Making certain that the budget adequately reflects the Association’s programme and priorities• Ensuring the longevity and sustainability of the Association• Staying ahead of the curve and continually seeking to be at the forefront of developments in the field of international education.

As a member of the the European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference Programme Committee my responsibilities are as follows:1. To develop an overall conference programme strategy that is based on thevision and mission of the Association.2. To identify and recommend strategic priorities to the Board.3. To create and implement a yearly action plan, submitting budget requests tothe Board.4. To initiate and stimulate innovative contributions from new speakers.
