About Simone Harris

In the dynamic Universe I identify as a Trauma-Integrated Restorative Justice Practitioner, Social-Emotional Learning Specialist, & Culture & Community Health Consultant; residing deep in the South on the bayous of Thibodaux, Louisiana, here on the lands where the Chitimacha & Houma tribes were some of original stewards of this land. A descendant of the Yoruba tribes of Benin & Nigeria, I come from a long lineage of Storytellers, Pattern Seers, Circle Keepers, & members of Tribal Counsel who helped to restore peace and wellbeing in the community during times of transition, loss, great change, disaster, and conflict. I now do that same restorative work of my ancestors and the ancestors of this land. Through these culturally-affirming, communal convenings, together, we can help to mitigate the negative impacts of trauma on our physical, emotional, & mental health across generations - mind, body, & spirit.

Listed skills include Fundraising, Marketing, Event Management, Event Planning, and 35 others.
