As "emotional scientists", we facilitate trainings and workshops that address the topics of "emotions at work". The team dives deep into helping organizations create healthy work containers in order to discuss the topics of psychological safety, courageous communication, and diverse and inclusive work cultures.The projects I co-facilitate within organizations, support these corporate clients to get to the root of organizational resilience by using self- awareness skills and/or mindfulness techniques, with a trauma informed lens.

I work with the Code Team with a practice called Restorative Storytelling. This praxis engages in a process of emotional recovery which allows us to gather together in community & reconnect to our common humanity, while increasing psychological safety, compassion, & vulnerable communication. We work together to develop culturally-affirming, social-emotional learning, actions that soothe our nervous systems & decrease stress, especially during times of conflict, transition, and crises. This Ancestral praxis of Storytelling supports us in navigating the mental, emotional, & behavioral patterns connected to our evolutionarily and socially conditioned reactions when tensions & differences present themselves in partnerships of all kinds. I supported the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute by coordinating the Search Inside Yourself in-company program within domestic and international companies and organizations. The Search Inside Yourself Program, which focuses on mindfulness and emotional intelligence, creates a space within the business world for transformational experiences to be cultivated within the organization.I manage and cultivate programs and special projects that focuses on self awareness, self management, and social awareness, to support us in navigating the opportunities and challenges that are currently affecting our mental and physical health with more resilience, engagement, and peace. Working internally and externally with staff members on ways to increase courageous communication and actions while increasing the capacity to cultivate more equitable relationships and systems in complex and dynamic environments. I worked with a range of tools and methodologies that support integrating mental health initiatives in communities and organizations. I helped organizations to lean into improving connection, while setting boundaries to help develop new perspectives and behaviors that go beyond creating rules without relationships. My work encouraged an ecological way of connecting as a way of designing sustainable and compassionate actions for individuals to develop highly effective values-based organizations and emotionally well culture within these organizations.

I was an advisor to a nationally recognized, mindfulness & emotional intelligence teachers training. I researched & developed the diversity, equity, & inclusion component of the programs, and provided information, resources, and support department of public health network, clients, and other affiliated professionals. During my work experience, I cultivated and managed long term teacher relationships through regular communication and guidance on best practices for successful program completion. I attended and contributed to SFDPH department, inter-department, and project meetings on the long-term success of the program throughout the entire organization of 9000 individuals. I supported and contributed to the ongoing development and improvement of equitable and inclusive trauma-informed policies and processes.
