As an associate dean of students at Augusta University, I am passionate about supporting the well-being and success of our diverse student population. With over 7 years of experience in higher education and counseling, I have developed and implemented effective strategies for student assessment, intervention, and advocacy.Some of my key achievements include chairing the Campus Assessment Response and Evaluation (CARE) Team, overseeing the Jags Care initiative, managing the Open Paws Food Pantry and the Student Emergency Fund, and serving as a conduct hearing officer and a deputy Title IX coordinator. I also have a strong background in research, grant writing, and mental health education, as evidenced by my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision, multiple publications, and honors. My mission is to foster a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for our students, staff, and community.
