Tēnā tātou,Ko Simone ahau.My journey in the public service has been to help agencies transform information, maturity and capability to be better, faster, and stronger.With a working understanding of the Public Records Act 2005, experience in progressing information maturity, and a strong technical understanding - over the last 7 years, I have helped agencies establish, maintain, and upift their information management environments.My experience include:- Leading information management strategies and progressing audit recommendations.- Enterprise digital transformations. Including document and content management systems for agencies of all sizes.- Establishing information governance and operational management.- Development of policies, procedures and processes.- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and business owners.- Identifying user and organisational requirements. Both strategy and technology.- Authoring and reviewing agency specific disposal authorities- Physical records management including offsite storage.My skills include:- Incorporating Te Tiriti o Waitangi considerations into information management and strategy.- Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure AD - Designing information architecture, security architecture, and taxonomy.- Retention and disposal against General Disposal Authorities and Agency-specific Disposal Authorities.- Education and training. Including information governance and management, retention and disposal, site administration, and agency history.- Secure information management and handling.- Creative relationship management and interpersonal skills.My mentality is that information management should and can be easy for all.
